This advanced training equips a core group of staff to form an NVR Response and Support Team — a trusted internal resource trained to guide, stabilize, and restore calm when challenges escalate.Through a blend of advanced NVR principles, risk assessment training, and real-world case applications, participants learn how to respond effectively to acute behavioural crises, parent–teacher conflict, and incidents that deeply challenge a school’s sense of authority or safety.Members of this team emerge not only with enhanced NVR expertise but also as a supportive force for their colleagues — helping staff recover from difficult encounters, re-establish confidence, and rebuild relationships with parents and students alike.By the end of the course, participants will be able to:<ul><li>Lead with composure and authority during crisis situations.</li><li>Carry out and contribute to structured risk assessment and safety planning.</li><li>Support staff in moments of professional strain or error, promoting recovery and repair.</li><li>Foster a consistent, whole-school NVR approach grounded in support, accountability, and connection.</li></ul>This course develops a high-level, sustainable in-school team — ready to act as both a preventive and emergency response unit, ensuring that no teacher faces the toughest moments alone.
